This French luxury fashion brand was founded by Madame Grès in 1942, and its perfume company Parfums Grès is still in operation, headquartered in Switzerland. Germaine Émilie Krebs (1903–1993), known as Madame Grès, had worked under the names "Alix" or "Alix Grès" for 30 years until she relaunched her design company under the name Grès in 1942. Madame Grès had created high-fashion designs for many famous fashion icons, including the Duchess of Windsor, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, and Jacqueline Kennedy, among others. In the 1980s, Madame Grès sold her business to the Japanese company Yagi Tsucho and hired Lloyd Klein as the artistic director. In 2012, the last Grès boutique in Paris closed its doors for good. Therefore, there will never be reproductions of handbags from this brand, making them increasingly rare in the market. Other stores in Hong Kong have not yet been seen to carry them. This series consists of three styles, each available in different sizes and colors, all of which are highly unique. All of them are currently in stock. These handbags feature a three-dimensional trapezoidal design, with an interior equipped with a makeup mirror. The matte gold logo plaque and distinctive shape make them stand out wherever they go.
