The French brand LANVIN was founded by Jeanne Lanvin, who started her career as a milliner for women's hats. Later on, her daughter became her source of inspiration, and Jeanne designed many exquisite garments for her, eventually branching out into children's clothing. As her daughter grew, Jeanne continued to design new fashionable attire, and the brand gradually evolved into an elegant, graceful, and vibrant fashion house.

In 1908, she became the first designer to introduce a fashion line for children, and in 1926, she pioneered bespoke menswear collections. In 1933, she created the first mixed-scented perfume, breaking new ground in the industry. At its peak, LANVIN employed nearly 1200 staff and operated numerous stores and subsidiaries worldwide. LANVIN continues to launch new products, with the lowest price for a handbag on their official website being around 5,000 Hong Kong dollars.
